Dunavant's Karen Hjerpe Promoted to Vice President of Quality and Compliance

Dunavant Global Logistics Group (DTG) has promoted Karen Hjerpe to the new position of Vice President of Quality and Compliance. She was previously the company’s Director of Global Operations and Compliance.

In her new position, Hjerpe oversees a vast range of administrative functions for Dunavant Global Logistics and its sister company, Dunavant Transportation Group. Specifically, she will focus on maintaining all certifications and licenses required for operators working in either company; handling all negotiations and compliance issues related to insurance policies; maintaining contracts and supporting documents for vendors and customers; and ensuring that all pricing for both companies is being maintained securely.

Karen has been employed with Dunavant since 2010. She previously held senior management positions at Mallory Alexander and Kuehne + Nagel. She serves on the Advisory Board of the Memphis World Trade Club and is a member of the Strategic Advisory Board of AIL, an 8(a), Service-Disabled Veteran, Woman, and Minority-owned small business.
