Dunavant expands distribution footprint with new Houston warehouse
HOUSTON, TEXAS—Dunavant continues to expand its distribution footprint with additional warehouse space at 9401 Bay Area Blvd. in Pasadena, near Houston, Texas.
The strategic addition complements a strong portfolio of logistics and transportation services provided to an ever-expanding customer base.
“The suite of logistics services we provide to our customers is substantial and growing,” says Dunavant COO Richard McDuffie. “Offering additional warehousing services in Houston can acquire new business while providing dedicated services to our existing customer base.”
The 185,000-square-foot operation sits within 5 miles of both Barbours Cut and Bayport terminals. The warehouse will be led by Dean Bay, Director of Warehousing and Distribution.
“We can help companies meet the increasing demands of order fulfillment in the multichannel retail environment,” says McDuffie. “It’s a first-rate facility with new investments in the safety, systems, and equipment and decades of proven experience. We are eager to build on our success in the Houston market as current services continue to grow in volume.”
