Prior to joining Dunavant, Mike spent four years with Williams-Sonoma as Director of Parcel Transportation, with global responsibility for parcel transportation management, and previously was Controller for AutoZone's supply chain division, where he won the AutoZone Extra-Miler award for distinguished service. In his past role as Senior Vice President and COO of Green Mountain Technology, Mike was responsible operationally for the development, implementation and execution of GMT’s Parcel Spend Management solution. Mike is a native of Tennessee and completed his undergraduate degree from the University of Mississippi. He also holds an MBA from the University of Memphis.
Dunavant also welcomes Clayton Fahey, Dunavant’s new Senior Vice President of Operations, who is based in Dunavant’s Houston office and responsible for all drayage operations west of the Mississippi River. Chelsea Cravens, Director of Global Operations, has been hired to oversee logistics operations from the Memphis headquarters office.
Fahey has lead teams to operational excellence and sales achievement for the past 24 years through his roles at XPO Logistics, Norbert-Dentressangle, and Jacobson Warehousing. He most recently served as Vice President of Business Development at Jacobson Warehouse and XPO Logistics.
Cravens is an experienced manager in domestic and international freight forwarding operations, most recently managing operations for IMC Global Solutions, LLC. Cravens graduated from the University of Tennessee with a major in supply chain management.
Williams, Fahey and Cravens join a leadership team of tenured professionals at Dunavant and in the industry at large, including Don Lake, who has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Enterprise Development, and David Underwood, who has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Logistics Operations.
“We are proud of the commitment of our existing, valuable leadership team as well as the pipeline of talent joining our multidisciplinary operation,” said McDuffie. “We look forward to putting their skillsets, experiences and perspectives to practice as we enter 2019.”
