Truck Lines Come to Terms with Regulations for Safety and Compliance

When the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration launched its Compliance, Safety, Accountability model in four states in early 2008, stakehoulders including truck lines, unions and enforcement officials were unsure what the new regulations would entail. Three and a half years later, with many of the kinks worked out, CSA 2010 has become the law of the land for trucklines from coast to coast – and industry insiders seem to be pleased with the results, even if the regulations’ affect on the industry remains uncertain.
